Several times the children’s pastor would have us sing it this way: Child, You are more precious than silver; Child, You are more costly than gold; My Child, You are more beautiful than diamonds; And nothing I desire compares with You. WOW! Can you imagine God singing that song to us? I think of my self sitting in God’s lap and him rocking me and sing that to me. What a beautiful image. It is nice to think that God loves us so much!
